Biography

The 90's

In 1994, Tom helped to open the Welk Resort Center in Branson, Missouri, and performed there often with members of the Welk Musical Family. He has taped many specials from Branson and co-hosted a number of Lawrence Welk PBS specials among them being "Songs of Faith & Inspiration" and Lawrence Welk's "God Bless America" with Mary Lou Metzger, which is destined to be one of the most popular PBS shows ever.

Tom's decision to move to Williamsburg, Virginia, was necessitated by the overwhelming response to his enormously successful four-year run at the Country Inn & Renaissance Spa, a nationally known resort located in the mountain spa community of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. There, his matinee shows were so popular that tour buses rolled into the resort as never before. His performances enticed tens of thousands of followers from all over the country and required him to seek a new and larger facility.

The New Millenium

Tom continued to thrill his audiences with "The Tom Netherton Show" at The Music Theatre of Williamsburg, Virginia. See Comments. Tom's matinee shows brought a new dimension to the Music Theatre attracting bus loads of fans from up and down the East Coast. Throughout the year, when not appearing at The Music Theatre, Tom continued to entertain audiences around the country with his dynamic one-man show. See Pictures.
