I was elated to read in your “calendar” that you will be performing at the Breakfast Club in Sugarcreek Ohio Thursday morning, September 3! I hope to get a group together from my church here in Akron (only about an hour’s drive away).
What a way to start a day – breakfast and a Tom Netherton performance!

Hi Tom,
You won't remember, but we met way back in 1981 in California at Whittier Area Baptist Church. My friend and I were in college and we gave you an autographed album of our band, Biola University. I even remember your car was a brown Cadillac. I was only 20 and I was on cloud 9 for a while after that. Thank you for being so nice to us. I'm embarrassed to think about it now. I have fond memories of watching you on Lawrence Welk with my folks when I was in high school. Not much else to do in a small hick town in So. Ill., eh. Imagine how popular it was to say I could name every Welk band member and singer. The looks I'd get, just priceless. :) I lived in CA for about 20 years and just moved back to the Chicago area 6 years ago to help take care of my folks who are now gone. It's good to be home in IL again, though. I catch you on PBS once in a while and so I thought I'd look you up to see if you're ever in Chicago. I'm glad to see you are still singing. Your albums I had are long gone, but I'll try and pick up a CD #@*%!. I'm still working for Lord, don't think it will be too long now...I'll see ya in the air! Blessings.
